GrogLog does not collect any information about you. This page explains what the app stores and where.

Your log stays on your phone

Everything you enter (drinks, days, goals and settings) is stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. GrogLog has no account, no server and no analytics, and it contains no advertising or tracking code. The app makes no network requests.

Your log is included in your iPhone's own backups, in iCloud or on a computer, according to your device's settings, in the same way as any other app's data.

Apple Health

If you turn it on, GrogLog writes the drinks and calories you log to Apple Health. If you turn on heart readings or sleep, it reads your heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep from Apple Health to show them on Reports. You choose which of these to allow, and can change your mind in the Health app at any time.

Health data is used only to show these readings in the app. It never leaves your device, is never used for advertising, and is never shared with anyone.

Exports

When you export your log, GrogLog creates a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may pass on anonymised crash reports. GrogLog adds nothing to these.
